Resound Linx Quattro 9 RIC Hearing Aid – Premium Receiver‑in‑Canal Model
Hey there! Let’s dive into the Resound Linx Quattro 9 RIC—the crown jewel of the LiNX Quattro lineup from ReSound, a Danish brand under the GN Group, perfecting hearing tech since 1869. Launched in 2018, this Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) model sits discreetly behind your ear with the receiver tucked into your canal, designed for mild to severe hearing loss (20-100 dB). It’s rechargeable with a lithium-ion battery and follows ReSound’s Organic Hearing philosophy, delivering rich, natural sound with Bluetooth streaming. For anyone in Bangladesh wanting the best in hearing tech, this one’s a premium pick worth exploring.
Key Features Of Resound Linx Quattro 9 RIC
What’s this beauty packing? The LiNX Quattro 9, as the premium model (tech level 9), boasts 17 WARP™ processing channels—tons of flexibility to fine-tune sound for your ears. It’s powered by the Quattro chip platform, with Binaural Directionality III for natural speech focus, Ultimate Noise Tracker II for top-tier noise reduction, and Environmental Optimizer II to adapt seamlessly to your surroundings. You get Bluetooth for streaming from your phone or TV, a Tinnitus Sound Generator for ringing relief, and an IP68 rating (dust and moisture resistance) on most units. With up to 30 hours of battery life on a 3-hour charge, DFS Ultra™ II with Music Mode, and 4 programmable memories, it’s loaded with the best ReSound has to offer.
Why Choose Resound Linx Quattro 9 RIC?
Why go for this one? It’s the top-tier RIC in the LiNX Quattro lineup—perfect if you’ve got mild to severe loss and want the ultimate in sound quality and features. I love how Binaural Directionality III keeps speech crystal clear while letting you hear your surroundings, mimicking real-life listening. Compared to the LiNX Quattro 7 (14 channels), the 9 steps up with 17 channels and ultimate noise handling, though newer models like Nexia have since added AI perks. It’s rechargeable, so no fiddling with tiny batteries, and that IP68 rating tackles Bangladesh’s humid, dusty days like a pro. If you’re after premium sound and connectivity, this is the gold standard.
Performance in Different Environments
Imagine you’re at home, chatting softly—the Resound Linx Quattro 9 RIC delivers full, rich sound with its 17 channels and Directionality locking onto voices. Now, picture a noisy Chittagong market; its Ultimate Noise Tracker II and Environmental Optimizer II cut through the chaos, keeping speech upfront—ReSound claims 60% better speech recognition in noise from the front. It’s ace for one-on-one talks or tough settings, and Bluetooth streams calls or music with distortion-free clarity. That IP68 rating keeps it safe from sweat and dust, making it a rock-solid choice for Bangladesh’s humid, bustling vibe—keeping you connected wherever you roam.

Maintenance and Care
Keeping it in prime condition is a breeze. Wipe it daily with a soft cloth—Bangladesh’s humidity and dust can creep in, but IP68 has you covered. Charge it fully in 3 hours for 30 hours of use (or 30 minutes for 6 hours) with the portable charger—keep it dry and away from extreme heat. Every 6 months, visit a Shono Bangladesh clinic for a pro clean or wax check—ears can get sneaky with buildup.
